ELBIgayan

Overview

ELBIgayan is a Flutter mobile app that connects donors and organizations, with administrative moderation for platform verifications.

Donors can browse verified organizations, view active donation drives and campaigns, track their donation history, and manage multiple delivery addresses with map coordinates. Organizations can manage their active campaigns, upload images, generate or scan QR codes to process drops-offs, and track received contributions. Admins handle organization verifications and oversee platform transactions.

For organizations:

• Verification requires registration details and admin approval before the profile goes public.
• The dashboard displays summaries of donation categories, active campaigns, and recent activity.
• The built-in QR scanner allows quick lookup of donation details when scanning a donor’s code.

For donors:

• The app supports multiple donation categories, custom items, and delivery options (drop-off via QR generation or pick-up coordination).

Contributions

• Led a team of three in the development of an Android mobile application, utilizing GitHub for project management and collaboration.
• Designed the database schema and created wireframes using Figma.
• Developed the majority of the back-end code, integrating with the Firebase API and OpenStreetMaps API, and contributed to front-end code related to address handling and integrating the Philippine Standard Geographic Code (PSGC) data set.
